Traveler's Prayer Card
A stylish and compact Box of Matches for kindling the Shabbat and Havdalah candles.
The lighting of candles marks the beginning and end of Shabbat. Candles are lit 18 minutes before sunset to usher in the start of Shabbat and the braided Havdalah candle is lit during the final ceremony of the day – Havdalah - bringing Shabbat to a close. In Judaism, candlelight is often thought of as a reminder of God's divine presence and is also a symbolic representation of the human soul.
